Meeting Gina Liano

I’m sure anyone who knows me will tell you that I can sometimes be Little Ms. Chatterbox because I love meeting new people and learning new things from them.

I have met different people from all different walks of life and I can tell you that each person has a story.

For the past 10 years, I have also been really lucky to have met so many celebrities on my various social outings, and the same principle applies there.

Celebrities are just like us, they’re, first and foremost, and human beings with their own lives to live and lead and face life hardships just as equally as the rest of us do.

Gina Liano is one celebrity who always divides opinions: some are captivated by her TV presence, while others admire her for her fiercely outspoken personality.

But, did you also know that this single mum-of-two was diagnosed with bowel cancer at just 36 years old? And was only given a 34% chance of surviving it, but in true Gina-style fought the good fight and defied all odds and made it through and has now been in remission from it for the past 13 years.

I feel really lucky to have met her at her perfume launch in April 2016 and I can tell you, that she is full of heart, so warm and so down to earth. I loved her.
